Six Weeks and more!

Ella is Six weeks old today! So hard to believe how fast the time has gone.  She hasn't lost any
hair. It just keeps getting longer which I love.  She does love her nuk's though(We call them bippys)





So Lily came home from school yesterday with this book. It was a free choice book and she chose to write about her little sister.  It was so cute!  I got some tears in my eyes reading it---especially cause if you have been following us, Lily was not too thrilled to have a new baby when we first told her. As the months went on, she got more excited and now she loves Ella.

Sometimes my sister smiles.  My mom makes her smile.

My sister's favorite color is pink.

My sister loves me and she likes my brother.

Is my sister rolling?

Five Weeks Old!

I can't believe my baby girl is five weeks old already. She is smiling, cooing, is alert, and loves to lay and play with her toys. Time is flying by too fast for this momma! Today, we had Lily's conferences and she led her own conference. First grade already! And Nolan, he is just loving school and is growing like a weed.

Taking the kids to the Circus!

Mom and Dad watched Ella and we took the kids to the circus a couple weeks ago. We thought that it would be good for the big kids to have us with them with not worrying about the baby and to spend some quality time with them. It was a great night. Nolan rode the Elephant and Lily got to pick a stuffed animal. It was a great night and Ella got some Grammy and Papa time ( they have watched her by herself so much already starting with a week after she was born so Chris and I could go out to a neighborhood get together downtown Madison--thanks Grammy and Papa) I stocked up at the dollar store on the way there with glow sticks, candy, and glow wands/necklaces so we didn't have to buy them there :)
