FUN AT VITENSE WITH EDWARD JONES

We had a work outing at Vitense Golf with Edward Jones last weekend. We had a wonderful time. We were there from 9am-1:30pm mini golfing, doing water ballons, eating, climbing the rock wall, doing the batting cages, playing Hi-Ball on the trampolines, driving boats, etc. We had a wonderful time! This was the kids first time mini golfing and they had a blast. We were worried that they wouldn't have the patients but they both did... In fact they liked it so much that we mini golfed 18 holes three times.

PARADE

So Me along with a few other Preschool Mommies were in charge of building the float for the preschool for the parade this year. This years theme was water, so we made a lua party on board the trailer. We spent a few days building this thing in our garage but all of the hard work and hours paid off.... it turned out really cute.

Summer Summer

I realize it has been forever since I updated this blog..... My days are flying by, The kids are becoming more demanding, the household demands are becoming greater, My work is taking up more of my hours and I am just not finding the time to keep up with this.

So what has been up with us lately??? Chris has started his new job and has been with Edward Jones since April. He has been busy taking his tests and building his business. Actually, today and I write this, he is taking his life insurance exams. He is now an official financial advisor with Edward Jones. His office will be located here in Oregon right down the street from our home, and we could not be happier for him. We are all really excited about this new change in our lives and we are enjoying having him home more. Edward Jones has been awesome to us so far. We have attended a few work outings already and got to meet some wonderful people.

I am still watching little Tia a couple days a week and working from home for Gates. LOVE working for Gates! Perfect job for me and couldn't ask for better. I mean, who can work from home, make decent money, stay in their jammies to work, have no daycare, driving, gas expenses, and go downstairs in the basement a couple feet when their shift begins?!?!

Nolan is officially potty trained... YES! No more diapers. I do have to say that potty training was pretty easy. It honestly only took one day! Ask me how I did it if you need some help.... Yeah to potty parties is all I have to say. And NO to pull ups!

Lily is getting ready for Kindergarten. We can't believe summer is almost over and she starts school in like five weeks. Yikes! Are we ready for this big adventure? I don't think so... but she is ready. She has also lost 7 teeth so far so the tooth fairy has been busy visiting our house.
