Slbling Love!!!

Three weeks ago, you would never see this. But this has become common in our house and I thought that I would post some pictures to show them to the kids in the future, that they really did indeed get along for a while.... or long enough anyway to read a story. It was so so cute. Lily was sitting down on the chair reading a book and she called Nolan over to read him a story. She even had him back up towards her on the chair so she could lift him up by here. CUTE!!!

The Kalahari

This is a place that everyone should go to someday. It is absolutely amazing. They have an indoor theme park, and indoor and outdoor waterpark, game rooms, restaurants, candy shop, pottery making shop, you can hold tigers, they have many stores, etc. It was a great experience and I would love to go back again. The kids were sick this time so we didn't explore as much as we could have but that is ok. We hit the theme park and the indoor water park. And it was Nolan's Birthday so we got to celebrate!! In the evening, Lily hit the dance floor at Auntie Coco's banquet and showed up the adults. Poor thing... she loves to dance and she didn't feel good, had a fever, and rosy cheeks, but bless her heart... she was out dancing like crazy trying to get all the adults to dance. She definitely has the moves!!!

 

 

 

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOLAN!!!

Happy Birthday to my little man!! I can't believe that you are TWO already. Time certainly does fly by!!! I remember as if it were yesterday, the day you were born. Our little blond hair blue eyed boy!!! Mommy and Daddy love you!

So.... We spent Nolan's birthday at the Kalahari resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Auntie Courtney and Chris had an event there, Courtney's racing banquet, so we went and stayed the night with the kids. We enjoyed the water park, playing in the new theme park, and eating at Kahunaville restaurant for Nolan's birtday. We had an absolute blast there and can't wait to go back there again some day. Lily was sick however with a high fever, conjestion, runny nose, and a sore throat, and I could tell that Nolan was starting to get sick so we kinda laid low a bit. Both of the kids were really sick on Sunday so we left the Kalahari early and headed for home. Although they had fun, we could tell that they were more than ready to come home since they weren't feeling good. We have been sick ever since and it has taken a toll on us. We even had to cancel Nolan's birthday party this past Monday because he was so sick.

Halloween

So... I know that I have been behind in updating again. We have been busy busy around here. I know, no excuse. We have been busy with Halloween, being sick, Nolan's birthday, and then being sick again. Not sure if we had the H1N1 virus, but boy did it take a toll on us. Especially the poor kiddos.
Here are some pictures from Halloween and Trick or Treating. We had a halloween party this year so it was nice to be able to take the kids out trick or treating and then have someone answer the door for the little kiddos who came trick or treating to our house. Lots of people, friends and family, came out to our house and hopefully we will do it again. We had lots of fun!!

We had a playdate with Jenna, Gavin, and Mom. We had lots of fun at Bounce U. Lily didn't have school so we met up there for a fun morning.
