Halloween Party

After we were done Trick or Treating for the Food Pantry we took the girls to a local haunted house! Then we followed the evening with a Halloween party. The girls ate yummy food, decorated pumpkins, danced, played mummy games, had a costume show, and decorated caramel apples. What a wonderful evening had by all!

Trick or Treating for the Food Pantry

Lily and some friends went Trick or Treating on Saturday for the Food Pantry. We had such a wonderful time and it was for such a good cause. The girls learned so much about helping others and had a blast doing so. We went for 1 hour and we collected over 170 items. Great Job Girls!

Trick or Treating with some friends

After the extra kids went home on Friday afternoon, I took my kids trick or treating on State Street. We met some friends up there and had a wonderful time. We managed to get a picture of most of the kids--- I think there were 13 kids total at one point. BIG GROUP!

Funday Friday off

So as mentioned in the previous post, I had extra kiddos here to watch on Friday. Two of them were my own but the others were daycare kids. We had the whole group today because there was no school. I had a full day of activities planned for the kids but the girls had the most fun with the Spooky Houses. They turned out really cute!

Halloween Hop

We are so lucky to live in such a wonderful community. There are so many things that go on for kids. Lily has off of school today ( Friday) and yesterday which was Thursday due to teacher convention. The community hosted a Halloween Hop event for all kids. We met up with some friends and enjoyed the morning listening to music, doing arts and crafts, going down a haunted house, etc. The kids had a great day! Today we are watching other kids so our day is sure to be busy. I have Halloween bingo planned, decorating bags, making halloween cards, and the kids will be making pumpkin gingerbread houses, doing a word search, watching a Halloween movie, making sucker ghosts, and following our fun day, we will be heading down to State Street with some friends for an after noon of hayrides, crafts, and trick or treating.

Lily gets her cast off

After almost four weeks, Lily got her cast off this past Monday. Boy was she excited! She started therapy right after getting the cast off and she was doing so well, she doesn't have to go back anymore.

Trick or Treating at the Zoo!

Our local Zoo held its annual trick or treating day this past Sunday. It was a gorgeous day to go trick or treating and when we went, it was not very crowded. The kids had a great time getting candy, making bird feeders with peanut butter and pine cones, playing games, and creating cool masks.

Our Third Stop on our Fall Color Tour

The Third stop was the Mid Continental railway/train in North Freedom Wisconsin. We hopped aboard a train that is over 90 years old and headed into the countryside to look at all of the Fall colors.
Nolan thought this was the neatest thing. The train ride wasn't what we expect--wasn't very fast or long, but the colors outside were pretty.
