The kids love to swing in the new swing set. They love going to the park and Lily really loves to swing. We found that we were spending most of our days at the park so we decided to get Lily ( Nolan too) a swing set for her birthday present.
Well, Nolan can stand around things as you can see. He loves to chew on anything, especially the train table :) ( Lily doesnt like that too much)
We like to go to the Farmers market downtown on Saturday mornings and last week was a special week there. They had the black hawk helicopters, ambulances, fire trucks, mini planes, hum v's, etc. They let the kids play in them so here a few pictures from that.
It just clicked with her one day and she has been using the potty ever since. We have a sticker chart and reward her with small treats everytime she goes. She hasnt had an accident in a while. So.. her reward for being a big girl... A trip to Libby lu. For those of you who dont know what this is, it is a girl store where they do your hair, makeup, nails, you make lotions, perfumes, dress up, etc. So we had some fun and now she is a big girl.. Here are some pictures of her during her special day.
Here they are... you would not believe how big the kids are getting. Lily still sucks her thumb though, we are working on that :) Nolan is growing so big too, although he is still 12 pounds. He is very petite in person. In his pictures, he looks pretty big. Definately a little baby compared to how big Lily was at this age. He giggles, and coos. We are working on saying "mama" but that is not working well. He looks at me and giggles when I say mama. Lily looks at me too, and thinks I am crazy. He really giggles when we say "WHEEL of Fortune" that is a popular show in our house so he hears that a lot. Lily, she talks like crazy and you can really understand her. We must learn to watch what we say though. I heard her the other day saying to her babies some words that she probably shouldnt say :) That little booger.
We like to do projects around our house. I try and come up with one project a day for Lily to do to keep her busy. Today's project was a race car bunny. She loved making it, but loved eating it more.
And.. Wahhhh!!!! Nolan is crying.
oh yeah... Forgot to tell you that the doofy hat on Nolan is to keep his hands out of his head. He has eczema on his head, grosse huh, and I have to put Hydrocortisone cream and Vaseline on his head and I didnt want it all over the house, hence the doofy looking hat that is too small for his head.
They love to talk to each other. Lily cant wait for the day that Nolan will play with her. But I have a feeling, once that day comes, she will want him back in his Jumperoo, not touching her toys anymore.
