Holy smokes! Where Have I been! It is almost like I totally forgot that I have a blog and that I am supposed to keep it up to date. Sorry I have been slacking to say the least.

February, March, and April have come and gone. Snow is gone for now, and my tulips are almost done blooming..... these past few months have certainly flown by over here.

So what is new with us....

Nolan: He is talking tons. He says full sentences and has got quite a little two year old attitude.... J/K. I guess it could be worse. He is such a little boy... no kidding right!?!?! He loves sports.. baseball, basketball, soccer... you name it, he does it and he does it well. He is so good at sports. He has a big sister and a few older neighbor boys and girl to keep up with and let me tell you, he is doing great and keeping up with them all. His hair is getting blonder than it was before. Still no luck on potty training... he has no interest it in. Crazy boy!

Lily: Lily is almost five. She is finishing up her preschool for the year and has graduation-can you believe it- in a couple of weeks. I have been volunteering in her classroom as bit which is fun. I hear that I should do that as much as possible because in a few years, she won't want any part of me in the classroom. She has her dance recital next month. They got their costumes last week and boy are they cute! Lily has lost 4 teeth already--- we can't believe it. She has three more that are loose. The tooth fairy has been busy. Lily also got her ears pierced. She has been doing really good with them. She was so excited to get them done.

Chris: If you haven't heard our news, Chris no longer works at American TV. He got offered a job with Edward Jones as a Financial advisor. He is so so excited and we are proud of him. Edward Jones has over 250 applicants a day and he was chosen to head up a new office. He took the last month off of work to do things around the house and took his vacation time from American, and started this past week with Edward Jones. He trains from home for a few weeks, then heads to Arizona for a week, then back here. Hopefully his new office will be in Oregon. We are just excited that there will be no more weekend retail hours. YEAH!

Me: Same old, same old for me. We just got back from Florida so I am getting the house back in order still. Laundry takes a while to catch up with. Still working for Gates and still watching little Tia a couple days a week. We are loving life around here!

So... we went to Disney last week and had a blast. The kids really loved it. We went with Mom and Dad V.V, David, Jenna, and Gavin. We had a wonderful time. We took the kids to magic kingdom, Clearwater beach, and hung out by the pool. Lily got her first experience in a Florida Flea Market and loved it. We had a blast and will definitely go back when the kids are older and can do more things.

As I mentioned earlier, Chris took practically took the whole month of April off before starting his new job. It was great because he still got his vacation time from American but he was home with us. We took many short mini day trips, one weekend trip up to the Wisconsin Dells Kalahari resort ( we love that place! ) and did lots of much needed work around the house. Chris now has an office in our basement and we made a new toy room for the kids. We painted---yet again--- and dad got us another dumpster to throw things out. It was definitely Spring Cleaning around here.

So I guess I missed posting Easter stuff and spring pictures. It was also Mother's day yesterday. Happy Mother's day to all of the wonderful mother's out there, and to my wonderful Mother!
