We have caught a case of the summer busy's.... or just summer lazy's..

Totally forgot that we had a blog..... Summer busy's and lazy's going on at the Erfurth house. Lots of things have happened since I last posted a couple of weeks ago. Chris's birthday has come and gone... Happy birthday Honey!! We went out to eat, just Chris and I, for his birthday at Prime Quarter, then to the comedy club. Which is my favorite new place.... I love to laugh!! Lily had her first soccer game, then her second soccer game. It is just so adorable. I love watching her play. And.. she is so much taller than the other kids.. she is pretty good. This week so has really improved and can pass it to people. She can kick that ball hard too. Grandma and Grandpa VV came to visit and stayed for a couple of days. It was wonderful to visit with them. We went to the Farmer's market and then we had a round robin thing... We started for appetizers at David and Jenna's house then to our house for dinner. It was great to visit with everyone. The following day, Sunday, we took a drive to the lake house in Elkhorn to visit the VenHousen side. We had a good time there as well. It was great to see everyone. The kids played in the water and had a good ole' time. We had a busy week last week. Everyday we had something going on. We met up with some friends on Tuesday. Chris came home really really early on Weds ( 1pm) so that was wonderful. We spent the afternoon at the park then headed to Pizza hut for the famous Weds. Dinner buffet.. our favorite. Thursday we met Jenna and Gavin at the mall and let the kids hang out in the mall and play for a while. Friday we met Mom VV, Jenna, and Gavin at the Sun Prairie Aquatic Center and had a great time swimming. Saturday we hung out and then met David and Jenna at Sam's club for a bit. Sunday... off to soccer and then the races. Thanks to everyone who comes out to watch Lily play soccer. I know that she really appreciates it.
Yesterday, we left in the morning and drove to Milwaukee for the day. We spent the afternoon hanging out at Bradford beach in downtown Milwaukee. It is such a wonderful beach. Chris and I went there while we were in college. It is a wonderful beach right on Lake Michigan. The water was freezing cold so we just played in the sand. The reason we went down there is because Courtney was on a radio show for racing, called racing roundup on 540am. It was really fun to see her do a live radio show. The kids came with so it was neat for them to see her do it as well.
