We had a busy but wonderful weekend. Friday was our anniversay so Chris and I went out to dinner. We always love to go out to dinner and ENJOY our meals without shoveling it in. :) Chris surprised me with a beautiful diamond bracelet. Of course we agreed to only get each other cards but Chris broke his promise and ventured out to buy a bracelet. On Saturday Nolan and I went to see David and Jenna's new house. My and the two kids were heading out the door and I got a phone call from Dad VV asking me if he can take Lily for a while. So Lily spent the Day with Papa and ran some errands, then went with both Grammy and Papa in the afternoon. Nolan and I also ran some errands, went out for lunch, then picked up Lily. It is good for her to spend time with them, like she spent time with Grandma Kim last week.
Sunday we relaxed in the morning, then headed to Chicago for Jennifer and Marks wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and we had fun.
Today was a relaxing day. We picked up the kids who had spent the night with Grandma Kim since we were out of town yesterday. Then we relaxed the rest of the afternoon with naps for all four of us, then a cookout in the late afternoon. What a nice start to the summer.
